Today, rector of BSU Andrei D. Korol presented a new principal, Natalia V. Mantsurova, to the employees of the School of Business of BSU.

Andrei Korol thanked Deputy Director for Scientific Research and International Cooperation Valeriy V. Mankevich, who formerly was acting principal, for effective management of the School, emphasizing his expertise and correct approach to the work.

Whereas Valeriy Mankevich appreciated the work of corporate body of the School, that helped the School of Business of BSU to become a leader in field of business education.

Natalia Mantsurova addressed the opening speech to employees. In her program speech, she placed the emphasis on the importance of consistent understanding of general objectives, set to the School, by the corporate body. From the point of view of the new head, they are enhancement of the quality of business education, extension of international cooperation by means of implantation of anglicized programs and development of additional education services. Also, new head of the School of Business of BSU expressed her hope for support of colleagues and appreciated Andrei Korol’s high evaluation of her job.

Background information

Natalia V. Mantsurova graduated from BSU’s “Management” speciality with honours in 2008. In 2009, she received a master’s degree in Management in social and economic systems. She worked at the Research Institute of Labour of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus until 2013.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Management and Health Organization of the Faculty of Humanities of BSU since 2010.

In 2013, she graduated from the postgraduate course of BSU (speciality “Economics and Management of the national economy”) with the assignment of the scientific qualification “Researcher in the field of economic sciences”. Two years later, she passed her PhD viva on the topic “Development of organizational and economic instruments of social protection against unemployment”. Since 2016, she has held the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Economics of the Social Sphere.

In 2017, Natalia Mantsurova was awarded the academic title of associate professor in the speciality “Economics”, she became the head of the same department.

Since 2018 till April 2023 she worked as the dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of BSU.
